Joyeux Anniversaire Aurelie

We traveled back to Le Cannet on Saturday so the whole family could be together for Aurelie’s birthday on Sunday. That afternoon Stephanie and I wrapped slices of melon with prosciutto, Aurelie and Michel prepared a proper Italian pesto pasta, and we all sang Joyeux Anniversaire around a crème pâtissière fruit tart studded with candles.

…and then goes straight for a strawberry

Just found a pointer to your blog again while purging a personal wiki.. i had stumbled upon it when doing recherche on mini itx back then.. it was the time you were moving to SF, i remember how jealous i was, i had just been there short time before and loved that city so much. and i liked your SF stories enough to place a bookmark in that wiki, but would not use that wiki for a long time… it’s nice to find your blog again today and see these nice pictures of the Ardeche, which are quite familiar, i have been there several times, it is not so far from Germany after all…
Continue having a good vacation! (And say hello to SF once you return. This years’ north america trip did not take me there, but i discovered a city of similar beauty and ease, at least in summer: Vancouver.)

Hey, Roland, thanks. I’m guessing there’s not that many people in the world with an interest in both Mini-ITX and the Ardeche. Glad to learn I’m in good company.
