I’m Carrboro’s biggest Decemberists fan (no, really), so I have to ask, what made you come to that conclusion?
i’ve been listening to the indie pop rocks channel on somafm.com and i’ve been keeping a list of songs i like. the decemberists have such a distinctive sound that i immediately recognize and seem to immediately like.
i don’t know their individual songs or albums that well though. where should i start?
My friend Jim burned me a copy of their most recent album (he discovered them from a summer in San Diego) and they do indeed kick butt. Lesley anne levine. My favourite song.
