can i take a request?

i keep a list of things to write about. actually i only started this list a little while ago when i felt like i had ideas constantly flying through my head that would be conspicuously absent whenever i sat down to write or do something.

this is what i’ve got outstanding:

  • music industry’s chilling effect on my music listening habits
  • talents which aren’t readily quantifiable or communicated
  • spam filters
  • feeling like a closet librarian
  • why would google create a gecko browser?
  • myers-briggs personality tests
  • organizational politics problem solving

i’ll also take suggestions. what should i write about next?

I agree, I have my list too, and when I’m wondering what to write about, I look at it. Recently when I’ve been out doing things I think that would be great to add to my blog but if I don’t write the idea down right then and there by the time I return home I’ve forgotten it.

That’s the sign of blog addiction, you know. When you’re out having a fabulous time doing something and you realize you 1) think to yourself “I wish I had a computer with me so I could blog about it” or 2) realize that you have a blog post in your head and start messing with the grammar and best way to express this to your readers later. Beats a lot of other addictions.

Ooh, just found this too. Looks like a replacement for the Friday Five. Blogideas: http://www.blogideas.com/index.cfm?mode=ideas

I’m interested in your thoughts on Myers-Briggs. There was an article on Salon about personality inventories in general recently, where the author basically said, they are little better than horoscopes. Also, did you know some businesses use them during hiring?
