freedom, creativity, caprice

hacked together a little javascript to modify the background colors of my neatlinks based on how recently they were posted. conveys temporal information visually, rather than textually which i think is quite nice.

used the too-cool-for-school colour wizard in order to get some analogous colors based on my background color.

fixed the monthly archives so each line respresents a [calendar] quarter.

update: in case you haven’t noticed, i added the ability to post comments back on thanksgiving. just click the link in the lower left hand corner of the post, and a pop-up window should appear.

a quarter? a school quarter? 25 cents? a quarter-pounder?

i really like the color idea… but you need the top and bottom borders for the box to fit in. also, did you have them bulleted before? it seems like its harder to distinguish each post now.

jackson: you must be referring to the neatlinks archive i believe i’ve fixed the style issues you noted.

nice! looks really good…

you know, your neatlinks are getting more and more disgusting daily….

not disgusting, hilarious
