bliss
it is funny sometimes how meaningless language can seem and other times how impossible it is to utter a single neutral word.
follow your bliss says joseph campbell
bliss comes from the french word for “wound” says david whyte, your bliss is literally the place where you are open to the world whether or not you want to be open in that way, the place where you are vulnerable.
funny thing about being open to the world: it might hurt and you might shy away, but you keep wanting it later, you try to put on a smile and ‘laugh at the world again’ but it seems like a lie. like something has been turned on that can’t easily be turned off. (for me at least)
