This is the man people thought would be a Democratic Presidential contender. He has completely screwed up being gov of NY and now this. The only good news is that his likely replacement is highly regarded, has good ties to the large sections of the Democratic party that Spitzer alienated in his first year in office and also is liked and respected by Republicans (who simply hated Spitzer, and frankly with good reason). Hopefully the state can move on.
