Definition of sucks:

Comcast has punished some transgressors by cutting off their Internet service, arguing that excessive downloaders hog Internet capacity and slow down the network for other customers. The company declines to reveal its download limits.

I don’t mind Comcast (or any ISP) having limits on how much bandwidth a customer uses over a month, I think that they ought to spell out what the limits are. It is like telling someone leasing a car there is a mileage limit, and if you go over it, you lose you car, and oh yeah, you don’t get to know what the limit is.

I agree with Ben M.

Comcast’s practices here seem to verge on the fraudulent.

It’s particularly bad, because in many areas they have a monopoly on bandwidth above 26-40Kbit (and latency under 100ms).
