What happens if the supervolcano under Yellowstone National Park erupts?
(inspired by the videos at Uh-Oh, via Boing Boing)
Update, December 7, 2009: Check out this rad “Heart of the Caldera” sign we saw by the side of the road during our trip through at Yellowstone National Park.
I told you that flowchart was deadly serious.
Referencing this flowchart for advice? You die.
Still convinced we can survive this.
Man, I can’t believe I left out that “alternative” ending.
LOL! And the alternative? Missed that part.
Would it be Bruce Willis diving into the core of the caldera with the worlds’ atomic firepower and miraculously causing the caldera to implode back into the core of the earth?
All I can say is I hope he makes it out alive for the sequel.
that is priceless. And how many states will this flowchart represent?
ALL OF THEM!
I believe half of this Answer. If Yellowstone did blow, it would reach as far as Louisiana, and even that is insane. Even more insane than this flowchart. But i think the flowchart is good
that will be bad
well the only thing i need to worry about is boiling flakes of lava and ash clouds
hurray for England!!
