I just used Firebug to change the background color of Flickr from #FEFEFE to #FFFFFF so I could take a screenshot of the multilingual WAR IS OVER posters to include in an old post with a perfectly white background.

quite normal ;) i use firebug to expand the widths of columns that keep cutting off data in tables (i’m looking at you, analytics)
