I liked what Joe had to say:

They’re one of the first things you learn about when you start at Google and they’re used everywhere.

One of the first times in recent memory I thought, “Google must be a pretty cool place to work.” I’m really glad they’re opening up some of the things they’ve developed internally. Anyway, this looks useful.
