Amazon price drops
I’m not a hardcore Amazonian (like Andre), but they do have two features I’ve always appreciated, one of which I’ve paid attention to a little more recently. The first, and I think, the smartest idea in e-commerce is the ability to add something to your shopping cart to save for later. Not only is this brilliant from a future sales, projected product-interest strategy, but as a customer, I find it indispensable for keeping tabs on things I might want, maybe especially when weeks and months pass between my occasional Amazon.com purchase (I’ve always been a bit of a Buy.com fan myself).
But the best part is when I do return to my cart and rediscover the items I’ve saved for later, and Amazon alerts me to any changes in each product’s status, most importantly, the price.

How awesome is that?

You just talking about Amazon makes me want to go there and buy something. Amazon does a lot of clever stuff, unfortunately it seems to all be buried in really pointless things like lists and bargains which I am completely un-interested in.
