I installed this for a specific download, and I wasn’t impressed. The idea seems good, but the performance was bad. It might have just been the site I was accessing. Also the “send me money” pop-up is annoying, as it has to be.
you may have just been experiencing the tit-for-tat algorithm that’s built into the client. you get files faster the more files you share. apparently it’s hard to just leave the client running when you’re behind a firewall/nat…
