I’m proud of your rage. However, politics have never been about something real. What’s really frustrating is not just this election, but the fact that the public face of politics is a meaningless shell, disguising in the most disingenuous way the important stuff that’s really going on. The implication is that the public is dumb and can be manipulated, and guess what–the public seems to be ignorant and gullible! Which is the same thing! Hence, the one election we never thought would be about meaningless crap from 30 years ago, actually is. Unbelievable distortion.
