shift reloading to salvation
it started with a few changes to take advantage of blogger’s new features, like previous post listings and conditional tags.
then i decided to take the larger plunge and absorb my homepage into my blog which meant turning certain homepage content areas (about, wishlist, food and drink, etc) into actual post-dated “posts”.
suddenly it was 4am!
update: the title of the post was a hint. if the page looks funny, it might be because your browser is using a cached stylesheet with the new layout. hold down the “shift” key and press “reload” to clear the cache and reload the page.

So what is the ordering schema for Friendblogs?.. height? relative intelligence? esteem? I only ask since I’m towards the bottom and with a ‘C’ last name I’m used to better treatment….

maybe it’s frequency of posts. i’m not even on there!

the last font i used was “georgia” which survives in the post titles. for certain posts, i was finding it hard to read, so now i’m playing with verdana.
re: blogger comments, you have to sign in with a blogger account or post anonymously. i’ve hacked haloscan up to my hearts content so right now i’m sticking with it.
the order of friendblogs is a top sekret algorithm based loosely on update frequency and content enjoyability, subject to change without notice.

a few days ago i revised the haloscan css for comment UI.
today i made the post title also the permalink to the post page, shifting the date down to where there permalink used to be.
